This 1957 Chevrolet Belair 2 door hardtop is a barn find. It has been parked for 12-17 years. It is powered by a V-8 engine with a 3-speed transmission. Ther engine is either 283 or 327 and has 1969 Z-28, DZ 302 intake with Edelbrock carburetor and very mild cam. The engine has obviously been rebuilt at some time in the past and car was evidently restored in the late 80's or 90's. The current owner rebuilt the carburetor and installed a new battery and an aluminum radiator to get it running. He has driven the car about a mile and it runs very well. This car has an extremely straight body with little or no rust that he has found. All weather stripping is cracked and/or gone. At the very least, the car will likely need brake work and tires to make it safe. This is a little bit of a project so please do not expect a perfect car. The current owner has related all that he knows about the car. It is being sold with the Bill of Sale and last tag receipt.
