This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is a real X-66 code powered by a 396 engine with a 4-speed transmission and painted the original Cortez Silver. It includes power steering, power disc brakes, tachometer, console, gauges, and no air conditioning. The previous owner purchased is car in1982 (documented) and completed an extensive restoration on it in late 90's and early 2000's. The work included a complete mechanical rebuild of the engine, transmission, suspension, paint, weather strip, partial interior, and much more. It has always been garaged and rarely driven since. The original 396 (whereabouts unknown) was replaced with a 1969 427 oval port engine with a mild solid lift cam, Performer intake, and 800 Holley with stock exhaust manifolds. The upgrades include a quick ratio power steering box, front springs, shocks, and rear sway bar. It handles much better than it did when it was stock. The Muncie 4-speed is non matching but the BR code 3:07 12 bolt positraction appears to be original according to the date code. This car is very solid body with nice original floors, trunk, etc. There is no evidence of any major rust or accidents and is has not been butchered up. It's not perfect but very clean throughout. She starts, runs, shifts and drives very well.
