One of a kind hand painted 1984 BMW 733I E23-chassis art car by soon-to-be-famous award winning industrial designer. This VERY cool 35 year-old E23-chassis sedan began it's life as a Hennarot red car from the BMW factory. Owner acquired it in 2006 with a complete repaint in baikal blue metallic and created this special piece of art back in November of 2009! Yes, it is truly one-of-a-kind that owner personally could not reproduce exactly. A bit of information about this first generation 7 series BMW sedan...... It is a solid, rust-free classic 1984 BMW with a good running 3.2 liter inline six cylinder engine mated to the factory 4 speed automatic transmission with electric windows and sunroof, leather seats, air conditioning, telescoping steering wheel, older Clarion cassette stereo and original alloy wheels with good rubber. The odometer shows 136,592 but the actual mileage is unknown. This truly groovy sedan is being sold with clean and clear California title and accident-free Carfax report. THE BODY AND TRIM The exterior of this 1984 Bimmer is in excellent and certainly unique condition overall. There are a few blemishes that have occurred over the 10 year span of being painted along with general wear and tear spots which include various minor nicks, scratches, worn areas and other cosmetic blemishes. Typical regular-car nicks and scratches tend to fade away into the background! THE INTERIOR The interior of this 1984 BMW 733i is in GOOD condition overall with working speedometer and odometer, horn, lights, blinkers and radio. The windows and sunroof work but the air conditioner is not blowing cold. Yes the seats are slightly newer different-colored...just a bit 'artsy' I would say. There are a few dash cracks and other miscellaneous wear and tear spots. THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This old Bimmer starts easily with good running engine with somewhat peppy acceleration from the 182 horsepower fuel-injected six cylinder engine, smooth shifting.
