This 1948 Chevy 3100 5 window pickup sits on a 2000 Chevy S10 frame. It is powered by a 5.3L V8 Vortec engine from a 2002 Silverado pickup with an automatic transmission from the 2002 Silverado. It has power steering, power brakes, and an OBD extension cable in the cab. It has Vintage air unit and original heater, both working. Leather bucket seats are from a 2012 Chevy Volt and are adjustable. The floor and headliner area were insulated before the seats and new black carpet was installed. New door cards were installed and the current owner has the headliner cards to match but they are not installed. It has new American Racing 15' Rally wheels and new Cooper Cobra radial tires with a 50K mile warranty. The glass is good with the windshield showing its age. Everything works including the dome light, wipers, all exterior lights, and the original vents. It has natural patina from sitting in a field giving it years of aging. It is not painted. It hasn't been aligned since the new tires and wheels. The current owner recommends getting diagnostics done as they haven't had it tuned. The truck appears to be rusty but it is solid. It was built from the frame up, the frame and undercarriage is powder coated black. There are a couple small (1') rust holes inside the cab in the passenger side foot area. The old moulding along the interior door area is rusted and could be removed.
